Garf '11 Featured on New Yorker Blog

A photo of Evie Garf 11's "," an inverted bookshelf she made for an architecture course two years ago, was featured last week on "," a New Yorker blog that frequently publishes great images of books from around the world.

Garf's project, which uses the weight of dozens of hanging books to suspend a three-tiered wooden shelf (so that the books hold the shelf as opposed to the other way around), was on display in VAPA in spring 2008.

The New Yorker pulled the photo from  Flickr album, which can be viewed in its entirety .
