51成人猎奇 Seed library

The seed library is a collection of vegetable, herb, and flower seeds that community members can borrow for free. People grow the plants in their yard or community garden, harvest seeds from some of the plants they鈥檝e grown, and return to the Library to replenish the collection and share the seeds with others.

The project has two main goals: to create a public physical space and system to trade seeds amongst community members and to empower community members through education and promotion of food sovereignty.

The students have been working on the seed library during the fall term and received donations of 550 seed packets from High Mowing Organic Seeds in Walcott, VT, Seed Savers Exchange, and Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds.

The  has additional information and the inventory of available seeds. The official opening reception is December 2.
