Summary

There are numerous methods to assess neurological function. In this course students will be introduced to the field of Psychophysiology. Psychophysiology is concerned with physiological responses as reflections of psychological traits, states, and processes. Students will study the form and function of major physiological response systems and gain laboratory experience in the recording, analysis, and interpretation of physiological data from the central (i.e., electroencephalogram event-related potentials) and peripheral nervous systems (i.e., heart rate, skin conductance, electromyogram).
