Course Description
Summary
Staggering change and suffering have occurred around the world in the last month. These changes are leaving many scared and uncertain for their futures and for the future of a free and civil society. This series aims to understand the gravity of the problems before us and how to address them. Students and guests will contrast the former workings of American politics to the ideas that are dominating America's international and domestic agendas. This class will include a series of conversations with students and guest speakers on topics such as the Rule of Law, Media and Democracy, Civic Education, Structural Inequality and Public Health.
This class will include a training on the Tools for Public Action. This will also include workshops on Mediation and Negotiation, Ecological Economics and Equity, Intercultural Dialogue and Peacebuilding, Legislation and Policy, and Marketing and Communication. The workshops will be online and are optional for 51成人猎奇 students.
