Sofia Alvarez '07 wrote the screenplay for Netflix's To All The Boys I've Loved Before, adapted from Jenny Han's novel of the same name.
Vanity Fair interviewed Alvarez and Han about the film adaptation of this new romantic comedy.

"Jenny Han and Sofia Alvarez have never met in person. In fact, prior to this interview, the author and screenwriter behind Netflix鈥檚 To All the Boys I鈥檝e Loved Before (available for streaming August 17) had never even spoken. Even so, they鈥檝e managed to bring a tender, lighthearted romance to life鈥攕tarring a perfectly average teenager who doesn鈥檛 need a makeover to grow or change by the end of her story."
